Xmas & New Year in Bala

Ty sinamon is the perfect venue to host a Christmas and New Year group celebration.

The house is very spacious with a large diner room, huge lounge with big sofas and packed with board games and your own GIANT JENGA, GIANT CONNECT4 and GIANT KERPLUNK.

There are some great activities locally that will be open over the festive period and a range of walks to help blow the cobwebs away.

So, after too much Turkey and stuffing you can crash out and watch the 42" TV, challenge the friends to a game of something (perhaps even have your own Olympic compendium) or get a rush at the National White Water Rafting or quad bike centre.

Ty sinamon is perfectly situated (it's one of the reasons we bought the property!) for a great combination of activities. So good we recently challenged 4 journalists to experience 10 in a day! An 11 hour marathon changing into overalls, wetsuits, helmets and listening to safety briefs. Phew it was an epic but hugely satisfying and finished perfectly at Bala Lake, watching the sun set drinking Champagne! Read all about it...

We normally recommend 2 activities a day or perhaps 3 depending upon the locations.

You can design a weekend to suit your requirements, but to give you some idea "whats on offer" we have laid out an example itinerary plus a couple of weekend packages with prices to give you a idea. See the full menu of activities...

We have been working in the region since 1996 and know our instructors very well. They are fun people (many with a tale or two to tell!) who enjoy their work. However, they are professional and extremely safety conscious. So you are in good hands.

Example Itinerary

Friday                Arrive at Ty sinamon meet Representative who will show you around

                         the large house and its facilities (another reason we bought the house!).

                         Chill out and enjoy the garden and organise a Giant Games competition.

Saturday           Clay pigeon shooting 25 clays per person, under the guidance of our qualified

Morning             and informative instructors. We offer male and female guns.

                         Lunch (not included)

Saturday           White water rafting the most fun you can have in rubber (apparently).

Afternoon          Brilliant grade 2-4 rapids in 7 man rafts.

                         Evening back at Ty sinamon telling tales of daring and thrills.

                         Why not have a BBQ or arrange for a Chef to come in and cook?

Sunday            Quad Bike Trek will blow away some of the cobwebs and fuzziness

Morning            Get to grips with the chunky 4 wheel bikes and head off into the hills.
